Financial Aid

Thanks to the generosity of ARI donors, financial assistance in the form of a tuition reduction is possible for those who are admitted to Ayn Rand University but are unable to pay the full tuition. Tuition for Ayn Rand University for students enrolling in the 2024-2025 school year is $666.66 per month paid over 24 months ($16,000 total). Complete this form to request a reduction of some or most of your ARU tuition.

If you are in the process of applying to ARU, complete this form at the same time you submit your admission application. Requests for financial assistance do not impact admissions decisions, but delaying your request for assistance can impact how soon you are able to start taking courses after being admitted. Your request must be reviewed and responded to before you can enroll.

Requesting a Tuition Reduction
As a nonprofit, the Ayn Rand Institute relies on donations to fund its operations, and the revenue we receive from ARU tuition does not cover the cost of the program to ARI. Please request financial assistance only if you truly cannot afford to pay the full tuition.

That said, it is in our interest to support students who have been admitted to ARU, and we make every effort to fulfill requests for financial assistance. Do not be shy about submitting a request if you are unable to afford the tuition. (You may pay back the support you received from ARI in the future if you are in a position to do so.)

Eligibility
Those admitted to ARU are eligible to be considered for reduced tuition. The amount of the reduction is based on one’s ability to pay, and we ask that you justify your request as part of this form. We may require a follow-up discussion to determine your eligibility and reduction amount.

Expectations of Financial Assistance Recipients
All students must participate regularly in their courses and maintain good academic standing and personal integrity. Failure to do so may result in the revocation of one’s tuition assistance and/or eligibility to take ARU courses as a student. By accepting financial assistance, recipients agree to comply with any requests to support ARI’s fundraising efforts, such as by thanking donors, providing testimonials, or taking part in meetings with supporters.

Submitting a Request
Before submitting a request you must be logged in. If you have an account on another ARI website you must create a new account on this one. We apologize for the inconvenience. This is a temporary issue and accounts will be merged in the near future. Please use the same email on this site that you do for other ARI website.Â
